Beijing Tiertime Technology Co. Ltd. ( Tiertime ) will debut the Cool-Camp Education Program for K-12 on the TCT + Personalize Asia from Mar. 10th to 12th in Shanghai, China. It will also hold its first public open class during the 3D Printing Summit of "3D Printing -- A Revolution in the Classroom"on Mar. 12th.

The event is organized by Shanghai Educational Press Group and TCT Magazine, and co-organized by Tiertime. Mr. Zhang Minsheng, the former Deputy Director of Shanghai Municipal Education Commission, will give the speech "The Future Trend of the Development of Education Informationization".

The Cool-Camp Program is developed as a supplement of the regular school curricula. The goal is to use 3D printers as tools to give students tangible perceptions to the knowledge that otherwise can be perceived only by imagination. The program includes in-school curriculum and after-school curriculum for K-12 schools to promote innovation and independent studies. The curricula are developed based on different grades and subjects for primary, junior and senior high schools.

In the "Classroom", teachers and students from Shanghai Xiangming Junior High School and Tianshan No.1 Primary School will give the live presentation of the 3D printing open class. Mr. Baylor He, the expert of Education Program from Tiertime, will present the detail introduction of the Cool-Camp Program.

"Tiertime has always regarded K-12 education as the key areas of 3D printing innovation. Supporting the event "3D Printing -- A Revolution in the Classroom" is to show our commitment of joining the education reform in China for the innovative education for students of the future." says Mr. Joseph Guo, Marketing Director of Tiertime.

"The curriculum gave a distinctive way of learning the knowledge from the textbooks. Students grasped the ideas faster and more involved by building the physical objects by themselves using 3D printers as tools."Miss Wang Meng, the instructor of the open class from Shanghai Xiangming Junior High School, commented about the Cool-Camp Program and UP3D printers of Tiertime after using them in class.

As Diamond Sponsor of TCT Asia, Tiertime has provided classic UP Plus 2 and UP BOX desktop 3D printers for the event to support the 3D printing open class. At the same time, UP mini 2 3D printer, the latest product from Tiertime, will be demonstrated for the first time in China in Tiertime's booth together with the UP BOX 3D printers during the TCT Asia event.
